You may think that, after Angkor temples, we will be doing something different in Chiang Mai.

However, Sylvain needed a bit of rest, and I had the opportunity to taste solo traveling during my first day.

I have never traveled on my own. And I didn't really have a plan, so I took my Lonely Planet guide, and I just started walking through the Old Town.

I visited a lot of Buddhist temples that day. And I also had one of the most interesting experiences of the whole trip. While taking some pictures, two young monks came to me and asked me if I had some time for a quick chat.

They improve their English by talking with foreigners, and that's just great! I spent a great moment with the two novices, speaking about our countries and ways of living. They were so friendly and kind! 🤗
